Activities

For children under school age, I have a range of activities for kids to do all based on a monthly theme. This is to help introduce new interests or extend upon ones your child already has. The monthly focus points for 2010 are listed below and within each theme I try to provide as many activities as possible on the subject so that the children can learn whilst having fun.

We'll also look at birthdays, special holidays or other occasions that take place and build in activities to coincide with each particular holiday. If there is a particular subject that you would like included, then please feel free to talk to me about it! (Themes are subject to change and addition!)

Themes

 January - Winter (trees, plants, animals, weather seasonal fruits and veg etc) February - Chinese Zodiac & New Year, Valentine's Day March - Mother's Day, America, St Patrick's Day April - Spring (trees, plants, animals, weather, seasonal fruits and veg etc), Easter May - Africa, Wesack Festival, Emotions June - Transport, Family July - Sports/Exercise, People (Police/Fire Fighters/Doctors/Fishermen etc) August - Summer (trees, plants, animals, weather, seasonal fruits and veg etc), Ramadan September - Harvest, Royalty, Fantasy & Medieval October - Halloween, Diwali, Europe November - Music, Fireworks, Asia, St Andrew's Day December - Christmas, Hanukkah
